ISeal of the State of Orissa via Wikipedia
Catholic bishops from the state of Orissa warned this week that Hindu extremists apparently have a “master plan” to drive Christianity out of the eastern Indian state. It’s only 4 minutes and 45 seconds long but it seems to last forever–actually viewing it for a minute is probably [...]

According to the news reports, there were 33,000 at Qualcomm. Also, according to some, we were all bigoted anti-homosexuals there to spew out hate and to rant and rave for an entire day against same-sex marriage.
I guess that reporter must have been there between noon and 1 pm when were praying over Prop.8 [...]

There is a new law that was preliminarily passed by the Iran’s parliament, which would mandate the death penalty for anybody convicted of apostasy. Currently, apostasy is punishable by death in Iran, but the final decision rests with a judge. Very few have been executed under the current law.
If this new law is implemented, [...]

This is the ultimate story of conflict between faith and culture. On one hand, we have Indians in the Amazon with their own culture and religion which justifies killing babies with disabilities. On the other side, are evangelical missionaries ( Youth With a Mission) who are trying to provide western medicine and save the [...]

In celebration of the 200 birthday of Charles Darwin, the Church of England plans to issue an apology for their initial reactions to his theories:
"200 years from your birth, the Church of England owes you an apology for misunderstanding you and, by getting our first reaction wrong, encouraging others to misunderstand you still. We [...]
