Ramadan has been a time of increased violence in Iraq. Why is it that the ‘holy days’ always seem to bring out the worst in Muslims? Why is it that when there are Muslim riots or churches burned, it always seems to happen right after attending Friday services? It really does call into question the ‘true’ character of Islam.
Many Muslims claim that Islam is a ‘religion of peace’, yet the actions of so many Muslims seem to contradict that designation. What is the true character of Islam? I believe that it is demonstrated by the actions and behavior of it’s ‘faithful’.
