We originally wrote about this story last week, now this update:
San Diego County: The warning letter/order to cease and desist a Bible study in the home has been lifted and a personal apology to the pastor and his wife has been issued by Walter F. Ekard, a chief administrative officer for the county:
“I want to offer my apology to you, your wife and your congregation for the unfortunate events of the past several weeks. My review of the situation shows that no administrative citation warning should have been issued and that a major use permit is not required for the Bible study you have in your home.”
According to reports, hundreds and probably thousands of complaints came into the San Diego county offices concerning the issue after the story was exposed on Fox News, and by hundreds of bloggers.
