I have been out of town on business this week. I saw something today that I can neither completely explain nor understand. While driving on the Highway from Imperial to Brawley (CA), along the route were more than a hundred high school students marching at the side of the road. What was remarkable was that they were carrying three rather huge Mexican flags, and many were waving small hand size flags–all Mexican! The TV cameras were out, so I assumed that the students were among those across the country protesting the immigration bill. But then I started thinking about it–if they really wanted to stay and become part of this country, why weren’t they flying The Red, White, & Blue?
