Louis Farrakhan spoke to a full house Friday night (5/25/07) at St. Sabina Catholic Church. He was invited by Rev. Michael Pfleger, pastor of the church, a friend of Farrakhan’s. During his talk he claimed to be both a Muslim and a Christian:

“Even though I am a Muslim — I don’t apologize for that — I’m also a Christian, A good Muslim is a Christian, and a good Christian is a Muslim,” …“Whenever Christ’s name is mentioned, I feel at home.”

Comments:

We should be praying for Louis Farrakhan that he might really become a Christian. It really is not possible for one to be both.

Islam teaches that Jesus was merely a prophet and that Muhammad was greater. They look at Jesus as merely a creation, a man who died like other men, they do not believe in his resurrection. Also Muslims teach that there is a curse upon all those who believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ.

Christianity believes that Jesus is the Christ and the divine Son of God, sent to save the world. (John 3:16)

In what world can Louis Farrakhan claim to be both a Muslim and a Christian? Not in this world or the world to come!
