Ready or not, Halloween now marks the beginning of an ‘extended’ holiday season.
I went into a ‘big box’ store yesterday to get a few things and saw a remarkable scene. There in the specialty section was the Halloween candy that I expected and further on down were Harvest decor paper plates and turkey platters for Thanksgiving. It was the next aisle that gave me pause to consider. There was a store clerk feverishly stacking Christmas Decorations on shelves that held ‘trick or treat’ candy last weekend.
Christmas already? I guess so with the new extended Holiday season in full swing. By the way, there is only 55 shopping days left before Christmas.
