Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-

Read Psalm 86 and then join us in prayer:

Our Father,

Incline your ear, O Lord, and be gracious to us. Gladden the hearts of your servants, O Lord, and lift up our souls; for you are good and forgiving, and abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.  Give ear, O Lord, to our prayer; listen to our pleas for hope and grace.

This is a day of trouble for the servants of your Son in many places around the world. We cry out to you for our brothers and sisters that are facing disaster upon disaster. Strengthen your servants in their time of need and deliver them by your miraculous hand from the evil one and his minions who are reaching out to destroy all who take the name of Jesus in the Middle East, Africa, North Korea, China, and around the world.

For you have done many great and wondrous things in the past and you alone are God. By your steadfast love you have saved many and even those who go to their deaths in the name of your Son have been delivered from the depths of the earth into your Kingdom in Heaven.

Even now, let your Church and people on earth experience your Kingdom in their midst while there is yet day. Teach us your ways, O Lord, that we may walk in your truth; unite our hearts by your Spirit to become that people who spread your Word and your Kingdom to every people and tongue. Give your strength to your servants that they may complete the task and fulfill the scriptures and prophesies that will prepare the world for return of your Son.

We humbly give thanks to you, O Lord our God, with all of our hearts, and wish to glorify your name before the whole world.  Let your Kingdom come in our midst and bring revival and a new awakening among your church and servants. Let your Kingdom come, your will be done in our midst first and then on to all the earth as it is in Heaven.

In Jesus name, Amen.
