-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Psalm 83

Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-
Read Psalm 83 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
Our Lord, do not keep silent; hold not your peace or be still, O God!
For your enemies are rising up in chaos and violence; those who hate you have raised their heads and made plans against this nation and your people. They counsel together against those who bear the name of your Son Jesus.
They say, “Come, let us make Christians a pariah in lands that used to be Christian; and let us make teaching and preaching the Bible unlawful in Public.”
Now in Western lands and in America politicians and judges are taking away the freedoms of your people; restricting how believers may follow your teachings and Word.
Rise up O God and bring revival among your enemies; convert those who do not believe in you all around the world; by dreams and visions, healing, with signs and wonders bring thousands to the truth of your Son Jesus. We want to see a great harvest in every nation and among every people and tongue.
Rise up O God and bring revival to this nation; let freedom ring among your people in America once more as protesters, media, politicians, judges, and unbelievers are converted by the thousands through miracles that they do not believe ever happened and through divine healing that they use to doubt.
Let the whole world come to know that you alone and your Son Jesus are the Most High over all the earth; Creators and rulers over all that is, or ever was, or ever shall be.
In Jesus name, Amen.
