Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-

Read Psalm 69 and then join us in prayer:

Our Father,

Save us O Lord from those who believe that we are their enemies because we are identified by the name of your Son Jesus; who come against us without cause, who really do not know us but want to destroy us anyway for philosophical and political causes.

Let not those who hope in you and your Son be put to shame, O Lord God of hosts;
let not those who seek you be brought to dishonor for no cause except they spread your name through all the earth.

We are thankful for the faithful and abundant lovingkindness that you continue to give to us; your love is a banner over us. Please deliver your church in this nation from sinking in the ineffectual mire that some of the cultural and political leaders are assigning to your people.

Draw near to us, for our spirits and souls have been redeemed by your Son for all eternity; but we need your guidance in this life to keep us from the clutches of the evil one and his minions in a nation and culture that no longer follows your word.

Your salvation, O God, has set us on high; We will praise your name with a new song;
We will magnify you with thanksgiving and all those who hear and accept the good news of your Kingdom will join in singing your praises.

By your Holy Spirit help us to become humble; let us see your face and let your Kingdom come down in our midst and change us and lift up your church to fulfill its destiny. We want to see revival and a new spiritual awakening once more in this nation and all around the world.

Let the enemy be turned away and let his minions be discouraged; let our hearts be revived with hope, and let your Spirit hover over those we minister to and bless them in a special way. Bring healing and miracles and confirm the good news of your Kingdom.

Let your Kingdom come, let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven; let it come down first in the midst of your servants and your church and then to all the world.

Then heaven and earth will praise your name and the evil one will be put to shame. Then the day will come when your word will be completely fulfilled; then every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christi is Lord to your everlasting glory.

In His name we pray, Amen.
