-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Psalm 52
by Dr. D ~ January 25th, 2022

Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-
Read Psalm 52 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
Thanks for helping us to be like a green olive tree in your Kingdom; we trust in your steadfast love and may we live in your presence now and forever. Through faith in Your Son Jesus we have become fruitful in this life with hope in the life to come and we are secure in the knowledge that through your Holy Spirit we are producing lasting treasures in Heaven.
We rejoice now and we will sing songs of everlasting praise in your Kingdom.
Not so those who do not believe, the scoffers who make fun of your people and persecute your church. They wonder to and fro trying to find a truth to believe in, a purpose to consume their lives, and settle for the honor and riches of this world which will pass away. When they go on to the next they will take nothing with them and then they will see their folly.
But we rejoice now and we will sing songs of everlasting praise in your Kingdom.
While there is yet day, inspire us O Lord to reach out to such as those who think they know something but really are ignorant of the truth; let your Holy Spirit help us to bring many to a knowledge of your Son and your loving plan for all humanity.
Regardless, we rejoice now and we will sing songs of everlasting praise in your Kingdom.
Let us be humble examples of your love and teach us to pray for those who oppose us; strengthen us against the enemy that comes to destroy rather than build up, continue to protect us from the evil one and his minions.
Let us rejoice now and live to sing songs of everlasting praise in your Kingdom.
Let our testimonies go forth in our neighborhoods, among our family and friends and let us transform entire cities in the name of your Son. Let this nation see revival once more; let a new generation experience your healings and miracles even those who say there are no such things. Surprise them and save many.
So that we may rejoice now and sing songs of everlasting praise and bring many with us into your Kingdom forever and ever.
In Jesus name, Amen.
