Read Psalm 34 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
Praise your name Lord, praise your name.
Praise your name Lord, we take refuge in you for you have sent your angels to encircle us and protect us from evil.
Praise your name Lord, for you have promised to deliver those who love you in this life and the life to come through faith in your Son Jesus.
Praise your name Lord, for you have given us your Holy Spirit to instruct us and guide us towards righteousness and help us to keep our lips from falsehood but speak only the truth in a land that doesn’t recognize it.
Praise your name Lord, for you have heard our pleas and have answered us and delivered us from all our fears. You have given us confidence and hope where there is none among those in the world.
Praise your name Lord, for you have enriched our lives and we have seen your goodness in this life and a vision of your Kingdom in the life to come.
Praise your name Lord, praise your name, and praise your Son Jesus whose birth we celebrate this Christmas season.
And in his name we pray, Amen.
