Read Malachi 3 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
We praise Your name and thank You for being the One that we can always depend upon; the only God who never changes and always fulfills his Word and promises.
We look forward to the coming again of Your Son Jesus; by Your Holy Spirit help us and guide us to follow Your teaching that we might be refined and become good loving examples of Your love before everyone. We want our lives to be a blessing and an offering to you; we also thank You for the forgiveness that comes to us through the blood of Jesus that washes away all of our sins and mistakes in the process.
Lord, in the midst of all of the distress brought upon our nation by the political conflicts and the current world-wide pandemic, we pray that the people of America would return to You and the faith we once had in former generations. You have promised if we return to You then You would return to us. We are looking and hoping for a new spiritual awakening in this land and also in the whole world that will go beyond all of the revivals in the past.
Father, let this be the time when Your Spirit is poured out upon all flesh, this nation, and every nation and people of the earth; so that the whole earth might be filled with the knowledge of Your glory, as the waters cover the sea. Let it be.
In the name of Your Son Jesus, Amen.
