-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Zechariah 4

Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-
Read Zechariah 4 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
Your counsel spoken to Zerubbabel is also good for us today:
“Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”
And we should never despise any small beginnings that bring us closer to You.
We ask for Your Spirit to help us in all we do; particularly in all we do in Your service and in the ministry to others in Your name. Nothing we do in our own power, might , and will can be a lasting blessing for others and even for us in this life or the life to come.
May we be like Your Son Jesus and only do what we see You doing and continue to respond to Your Spirit and counsel in all that we do; sowing love, peace, joy, and healing wherever we go.
In Jesus name, Amen.
