-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Haggai 1

Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-
Read Haggai 1 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
In Your Word, through the prophet Haggai, You declared that It was time to rebuild the Temple; the time of living life as usual was over. If the people continued as they were, their work would result in declining results and Your blessings would be withheld.
Lord, through Your Holy Spirit, I believe that You are saying something similar to believers today; that the times are changing and it is time to ‘seek first Your Kingdom’ and preach the ‘Good News’ Of Your Son Jesus to every nation and people. It is time for believers to become Your living Temples in this life.
As with the people in Haggai’s time, You have promised that You will be with all those who dedicate their lives to You and follow Your direction. We are also in changing times and we are hoping to see revival once more in this nation and the Great World-Wide Harvest instead of judgment, before the great day when Your Son Jesus comes again.
In His name we pray, Amen.
