Read Habakkuk 3 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
Your glory and splendor is displayed in the heavens and observed everywhere we turn on earth. Your light shines forth beyond our comprehension; Your brightness pushes back the darkness and is veiled to protect our lives. At Your command the Sun will stand still and the Moon also in its place.
You have measured the earth and continue to shake the nations; we pray for mercy rather than wrath; for revival and salvation instead of judgment.
We praise your name daily; You bring salvation and eternal life to all those who accept the sacrifice of your Son Jesus. You bring blessings and joy into our lives and anoint us with the presence of your Holy Spirit and You place our feet in heavenly places in this life and in the life to come. Praise Your name Lord, praise Your name.
In the precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
