-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Micah 7

Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-
Read Micah 7 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
In these dark times and in the midst of divisive and self-centered leaders we look to You for help and peace in this life. As the prophet Micah proclaimed:
7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.
Those who question: “Where is the Lord your God?” will find out soon enough and be put to shame as Your Kingdom increasingly becomes a reality in this life and the life to come. We ask that You would soon demonstrate the truth of Your rejected Word through marvelous signs and wonders that will put the unbelievers to shame and cause them to turn to follow Your Son instead:
“16 The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might;
they shall lay their hands on their mouths…they shall turn in dread to the Lord our God, and they shall be in fear of you.”(ESV)
Thank you Lord for promising all believers, and those who turn to You; that You would pardon us and cast away all of our transgressions:
19 …thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
And You will lead us like a shepherd into safety instead of judgment in this life and the eternal life to come:
In the precious name of Your Son Jesus, Amen.
