-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Amos 2

Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-
Read Amos 2 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
In times past, through the prophet Amos, you pronounced judgment upon the ancient nation of Moab which is now part of the modern country of Jordan. The people of that region still live in poverty and few know the truth about your Son Jesus and his Gospel of peace and healing.
Let the Good News be preached among that people in this generation and let your Spirit bring truth and salvation, healings and miracles, and signs and wonders to that modern nation.
In Times past, through the prophet Amos, you pronounced judgment upon the ancient nations of Judah and Israel.
Send your Spirit to bless the people: Christians, Jews, and Muslims, living in that territory in this generation. Sow peace, love, and unity among that diverse people in the name of Jesus Christ and replace the hatred, division, and strife. Let your Kingdom be demonstrated through signs and wonders in the midst of that land and let the poor rejoice and healing begin among that people.
We are looking and hoping for the ‘Good News’ of your Kingdom and your Son Jesus to be preached in every nation and among every people in this generation.
In Jesus Name, Amen.
