-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Psalm 119: 9-16 (Beth)
by Dr. D ~ September 28th, 2020
Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-
Read Psalm 119: 9-16 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
Father, with our whole hearts we have sought you: O let us not wander from your presence. We have hidden your Word in our hearts that we might not sin against you. Blessed are you and your Son Jesus: teach us your statutes and your ways.
Let your Holy Spirit guide us as we meditate on your Word and learn your ways. Let us learn to delight in your commandments and not in the ways of the world but learn to seek your Kingdom. Write your Word upon our hearts and by your Holy Spirit teach us and guide us daily toward our callings and destinies.
Let your church rise up in this critical hour; let your servants take your Word and Good News to every nation, people, and tongue. Let this nation, which use to honor you, find its way back and let a new awakening break out beginning with those of us who claim the name of your Son Jesus. Let us be good examples of how blessed it is to follow your teaching and let us bless the lives of those all around us in your name.
Let us bring love where there is hate, peace in the middle of strife, and blessing rather than condemnation. For you did not send your Son into the world to condemn but to bring salvation. Let us be agents of your Good News and love and demonstrate it to everyone we come in contact with daily.
In Jesus name, Amen.
