-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Psalm 108

Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-
Read Psalm 108 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
We will give thanks to you, O Lord, among all peoples; we will sing praises to you among all the nations. For your mercy is great above the heavens: and your truth reaches into the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth.
We pray that your beloved ones may be delivered like David asked. Let your Kingdom come down in our midst and equip us for the task ahead. There is a whole world to be gained for your Son Jesus; a great harvest to be gathered from every nation and people.
You have promised that your holiness will dwell among us; your Holy Spirit would enliven us and enable us to take your Word to the whole world with signs and miracles following.
Our nation has been like a spiritual desert before the coming of this pandemic and we are dry but you have given us a vision and a hope or revival and for a great world harvest. Let your Holy Spirit hover over us and lift us up that we might be able to fulfill our destiny and complete our purpose and vision.
Grant us help against our real foe, the evil one and his minions; for we really are not battling against flesh and blood. With your help O Lord we can do the task and complete our journey and do it valiantly before that great day when all believers will meet the Lord our righteousness- your Son Jesus in the air.
