Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-

Read Psalm 80 and then join us in prayer:

Our Father,

Restore us, O Lord God of hosts! Let your face shine upon us; all of your servants who have taken the name of your Son Jesus.

Your church in the Middle East is being destroyed; enemies who say they are following your word are cutting down and beheading your servants. They invoke your name as they rape and enslave women and children; they laugh and rejoice as they pull down churches that have been there for over a thousand years.

Rise up and restore your people Lord, let your face shine upon them and protect them from the evil one and his minions. Many are saying that soon nothing will be left of your church in its birthplace as hundreds of thousands of people that bear the name of y0ur Son have been expelled from the land of their fathers.

In Africa, whole villages of Christians are being attacked, killed, and enslaved. While in this land the media has turned our attention to the issue of slavery which was abolished here over a 150 years ago; slavery is still allowed and tolerated among Muslims. Rise up O Lord and let the truth be known in spite of our media.

Rise up and restore your people and bring revival instead among the very perpetrators of this evil. Let those who are pulling down your churches be converted and brought to the truth of your Son Jesus. Let dreams and visions, signs and wonders turn back the evil that is destroying your church and people while there is yet day.

Restore your people, O Lord God of hosts! Let your face shine upon upon them that they might be saved while there is yet day.

In Jesus name, Amen.
