-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Psalm 68
by Dr. D ~ July 16th, 2020
Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-
Read Psalm 68 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
we sing praises to your name; we lift up a song to you. For you are a Father to the fatherless and a supporter of the poor and widows. You bless those who are alone with family and friends; you release the captives and give them a new life.
Blessed be your Son Jesus who is the Lord of our salvation; who has delivered us from death into life. And blessed be your Holy Spirit who bears us up daily and shows us the path of grace before us.
Send out your mighty Word to all the earth in the midst of this world-wide pandemic. Let the trumpets blare and herald the coming of the King when every eye will see him and every knee will bow before him.
But before that great coming Day of the Lord, let your servants rise up. Give power and strength to your church as never before. Let your Kingdom come down in our midst and transform your people.
Let healings and miracles go forth to every nation confirming the message of your Kingdom among every people and in every language. Let voices from every country cry out with blessings to you and honors for your Son. Let the Holy Spirit hover across the whole face of the earth and dwell among the believers of every nation. Let your name be blessed in every language.
In Jesus name, Amen.
