-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Psalm 53

Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-
Read Psalm 53 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
We look for the day when the Word of your Son will come out of Zion, when rivers of healing and abundance will flow from Jerusalem. When everyone shall know the truth and the truth will set the whole world free. When Salvation will come to the earth and reign among all humanity. When the evil one and his minions are stored away and hunger, sickness, and war are no more. When the children will play in safety and all humanity will sing songs of joy and praise for a whole millennium.
Today is not that day, and so many among us claim that there was no Creator and everything we know was just an accident. Nevertheless, science has discovered order in the universe and they claim that there are rules in the physical realm that we can depend upon. In truth, everyone is accountable to your physical laws and live according to your physical absolutes.
But so many fools claim that there are no objective rules to live our lives by and no hope or purpose that transcends this physical life. That there is no spirit realm or god to hold us accountable to any objective moral absolutes. Therefore they reason that there is no real moral order in the universe, no reason to be ‘good’ and loving to others except for personal gain and that everyone is only accountable to themselves and maybe human government and culture.
All humanity has been tainted by the teaching and counsel of the evil one from the very beginning. None of us can really do any ‘good’ that counts for all eternity accept those who have been transformed by faith in your Son Jesus and have received a new nature and have your Spirit dwelling within them.
Send forth your Spirit in a new way among all nations and peoples. Let the truth be spread to every nation. Let the church rise up and demonstrate the good news of your Kingdom. Let your Kingdom come down in their midst and show the world that there is a spiritual realm, and demonstrate the supernatural bringing healing and miracles to the nations, cultures, and people who deny there is even such a thing.
Do a new work in this generation and let the church rise from the dust and fulfill her destiny. Let your Kingdom come, your will be done on the earth as it is in Heaven.
