-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Psalm 37

Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-
Read Psalm 37 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
We trust in you and delight in your ways. We commit ourselves to you and your Son Jesus.Let your Holy Spirit work within us to bring forth good and let the righteousness of your Son shine as a light in our lives and let your justice come forth and be a reality in our midst.
Teach us O Lord to be patient and refrain from anger, forsaking wrath within our homes and communities. For you have promised that those who wait for You shall inherit the land and the meek your Kingdom. Lord, by your Holy Spirit inspire us to live according to your Wisdom and speak out for justice in an a world that is uneven and unfair. Guide us away from evil but always toward the truth and the good.
We thank you Lord for our Salvation in this life and the eternal life to come.Let your Word go forth and be a blessing among the people in this land once more and let them receive your goodness in this life through your Son and for all time and eternity.
In Jesus name, Amen.
