-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Psalm 13

Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-
Read Psalm 13 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
For a long time we have longed for the spiritual climate in our nation to improve but division and anger have overtaken our land and our culture is increasingly calling evil good while characterizing your Word as bigotry and hate. We pray daily hoping for a new awakening in our land and you continue to bless us with patience and we have gotten closer to you in the process. So it has all been worth it and we praise your name no matter where we are right now.
Now is the time O Lord while our nation is in a great pause; let your Spirit hover over this nation and all the homes we are stuck in. Rise up O God and help us defeat our fears and slay the giants standing in the way of the path you have called us to. We are presently in a fog and we need clear vision in the midst of all of the confusion. Bless our leaders with your wisdom and let the truth come out and prevail even if it is politically inconvenient.
Praise your name Lord and the name of your Son Jesus and by your Holy Spirit lead us out of the desert places into the promised destiny before us. Meanwhile, teach us to celebrate where we are and take our worship to a new level.
