-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Psalm 10

Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-
Read Psalm 10 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
Arise O Lord our God; lift up your hand and have mercy on us in the name of your Son Jesus. Please do not stand far off in our time of trouble but come close to us and demonstrate the reality of your Kingdom in our midst and bring healing and miracles.
Let your Kingdom come down in our midst; may the oppressed find victory and freedom. Let the weak and sick gain their strength and become healthy again and let the hungry receive their sustenance.
We pray for our leaders that they might receive your wisdom in the midst of this time of overwhelming confusion when so many ignorant and contending voices are presenting their own opinions and the whole truth is rarely considered or wanted.
Let your word be preached in every nation and let all people find the true God and loving teaching of your Son Jesus and the counsel of your Holy Spirit which brings real peace to the hearts of all who believe and casts off all fear.
In Jesus name, Amen.
