Read Psalm 9 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
Praise your name Lord for we are thankful for all of the wonderful things that you have done in our lives, in our homes, and in our land. You have blessed our nation and made us preeminent in war and peace and brought wealth and security to our land. Now our people are facing a crisis that is threatening our whole nation, our health, and bringing down our economy.
Yet in the midst of it all we praise your name and the name of your Son Jesus. Thanks for being the stronghold that we can rely on in our times of trouble and difficulty.
Let your justice and your wisdom reign and influence the leaders in this country and all of the rulers around the world. Let your word continue to go forth and let the peoples of the whole earth respond to your love and mercy that is extended to all through the sacrifice of your Son Jesus..
Praise your name Father and the name of your Son Jesus for all that you have done for us in the past and for what you will do in the future. Hear our prayers O Lord:
