-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Zechariah 1

Join us in today’s prayer and devotion:
Read Zechariah 1 and then join us in prayer:
Our Father,
We live in a time similar to Zechariah when the horses of war, plague, and famine are once more walking to and fro on the earth bringing death and fear among many. In the midst of it all You proclaimed through the prophet Zechariah:
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
This is a good time to respond to those words and seek You once more in prayer and in deed.
You have promised in Your word that if we turned to You, You would turn to us and support us in our time of trouble and need. Our only real hope in this life and the life to come is in You and the Good News of Your Son Jesus and Your Kingdom. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our midst and in our nation, our cities, and in our families.
We pray for healing, for signs and wonders, and for miracles and revival to come to our land; and for Your Good News to be demonstrated all around the world in the middle of this time of trouble.
In Jesus name, Amen.
