Our Father,
Thank You for being slow to anger and a stronghold and refuge in times of trouble for those who trust in You. You are good and only want good tidings, blessings, and peace to come our way.
We live in uncertain times when folks around the world are fearful and concerned about frightening diseases and the economy. In our own land we are facing political division among our leaders and a media that has a hard time being impartial and telling the whole truth regardless.
We pray for those of good will in America and for those who trust in You to stand up for what is best for all and sow love and peace rather hate and division. We want Your help in remembering the teaching of Your Son Jesus who taught us to pray and want the best even for our enemies.
In Jesus name, Amen.
