Our Father,
You are the only God and Your Son Jesus is the only one who can save us in this life and the one to come. By faith in him we are redeemed from the grave and death brings us into an eternal life in Your Kingdom where there is no sickness, hunger, war, or death.
Some who consider themselves to be wise in this generation say there is no God but those who are really wise continue to worship You and believe in Your teaching and walk therein; finding an enduring happiness and love that comes only through a relationship with You.
So many in our nation are looking for love in all the wrong places; seeking peace where it never can be found. We continue to pray for a new spiritual awakening in this land that everyone will come to know the truth and be set free in the light of Your wisdom and find the best way of life possible for now and for all time.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
