Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court sentenced a young man to death for “atheism and blasphemy.” Here’s the story from the Faithwire:

Ahmad Al-Shamri, a man in his 20s, who first faced legal obstacles when he was arrested back in 2014 after his clip critical of Islam caught the attention of authorities, lost two appeals before Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court said his crimes warrant the death penalty.

Response: We continue to post news like this because the mainstream media usually doesn’t like to publish anything that may reflect badly on Islam and its adherents. Saudi Arabia and many other Muslim dominated countries are very consistent in punishing their citizens for being atheists or for being critical of Islam in any way.  Also, homosexuality and any kind of LGBT lifestyle is outlawed in Saudi Arabia and many other Islamic nations.

Meanwhile, Christians in this country are called bigots, homophobes, and Islamaphobes for merely supporting Biblical teaching while adhering to the teaching of Jesus to love and treat everyone well. But Muslims and their organizations and businesses continue get a pass even though they tend to support more radical views and treatments of atheists and LGBT folks. It really doesn’t make sense unless there really is a supernatural enemy of the truth.               *Top
