-‘Right Wing’ Extremists a Larger Threat to U.S. Than Radical Islamists? Not Anymore!

Last year in June (2015) a popular study by the New America Foundation was touted by the main stream media as proving that domestic “right-wing extremists” and “white supremacists” were a larger threat to the U.S. than radical Islamists.
The so-called study skewed some numbers in the process and came up with 48 killings by right wingers since September 12, 2001 as opposed to ‘only’ 26 by Islamists. The New York Times championed the research with the following article entitled: “Homegrown Extremists Tied to Deadlier Toll Than Jihadists in U.S. Since 9/11”
Well now you can add 50 deaths to the jihadi side of the equation so the score is 76 to 48. Better yet add one more day (September 11, 2001) to the numbers given in the study and there is no comparison at all- 3,082 to 48.
The truth is that the liberal media feels more threated and worried about conservatives and evangelical Christians in particular than any other group including radical Islamists. From the perspective of the MSM, those of us who are conservative Christians, are the ‘real’ enemy and those who claim that radical Muslims might be problem are ‘Islamophobic.’ The bogus study done last year supports that view. Don’t look for any changes in thinking from the media any time soon regardless of the real numbers or the truth for that matter.

It also reminded me that last year in February the Obama administration DHS had a conference where they concluded that the right wing was a far greater domestic threat than ISIS or radical Islamists. They were wrong then and subsequent events continue to expose their PC based and biased faulty thinking.
