And so it begins. Three women in Brazil held a 3 way civil union ceremony in preparation for having a legal family together. Here’s the report from Yahoo.com:

While these are the first women to enter a three-way civil union, a similar ceremony was held in 2012 for a man and two women in Sao Paulo state.

Both arrangements are based on a Supreme Court ruling (Brazil) that in 2011 authorized notary publics to hold civil union ceremonies for gay and lesbian couples.

According to Leitao, "all the principles and fundamentals" of that ruling "can also be applied to polyamorous relationships."

Response: And so the slippery slope begins. We have said all along that once same-sex marriage was accepted in Western countries that support for polygamy and polyamory and other types of relationships would naturally follow since the same arguments and rational for homosexual marriage could easily apply to other relationships.

In fact, two years ago a federal judge declared the Laws in Utah criminalizing polygamy were unconstitutional. Already there was a recent attempt by a man and two woman to obtain marriage licenses in Montana. Now this legal civil union in Brazil. Also it is a fact that there are already a considerable number of immigrant Muslims in America living in polygamous marriages that were legal in the countries they came out of.

Also I have recently read several articles questioning whether incest laws and laws preventing same-sex siblings or close cousins should apply to same-sex marriage since no children will be coming out of those unions. Worse yet, New York Magazine in an article in January seemed to be even supportive of an incestual relationship between a father and daughter.

We now live in a brave new world where anything goes and anything that the Creator might have said in the past is ignored or considered to be bigoted and discriminatory.               *Top

The last taboo to fall will be child sex. But that taboo will eventually fall also.
