-According to Disney Channel Mentioning God is Not Nice?

by Dr. D ~ December 3rd, 2014

This is the season to be thankful but according to the Disney Channel you can be thankful for everyone and everything on their website accept God? Here’s the story from Todd Starnes of Fox News:

…Lilly celebrated her 10th birthday on Sunday. …Now, Lilly loves the Disney Channel – and as she was browsing the channel’s website she noticed a question. The Disney Channel wanted to know what she was thankful for.  So Lilly typed in her answer.

“God, my family, my church and my friends,” the 10-year-old wrote.

Lilly pressed the return key and waited for her answer to appear on the website. But her response did not appear. Instead, a message written in red popped up on the screen.

“Please be nice!” the message read.

Lilly tried again and again with no luck

“We together figured out that the word God was the problem,” Julie (Lilly’s mother) said.

Sure enough, when they removed the word “God” from the post – the Disney Channel approved Lilly’s message.

Response: The Disney Channel claimed that there was no ‘official’ policy to eliminate ‘God’ from their website. Yet when Todd Starnes went on the site he found that every time he mentioned God his comments continued to be censored. Obviously someone who worked for Disney Channel programed the site to block ‘God.’

We are now living in a time in America where the God of the Bible is now controversial to many. So it is not really so surprising that Disney Channel officials or some or one of their workers would choose to block ‘God’ from their website.  After all, even Christian holidays like Christmas and Easter, that have been part of the Western culture for over a thousand years, are no longer ‘politically correct’ and can no longer be mentioned on the calendar in some public schools around our nation.

Even the Thanksgiving Day we recently celebrated which began as a day to be thankful to God has been redirected by a new PC cultural emphasis on being thankful to everyone and everything except the Creator. For example, our current President has left God out of his last four official  Thanksgiving proclamations. The Disney Channel is merely reflecting our changing cultural times- unfortunately.             *Top
