Here’s a report that pastors and churches are not being allowed to visit and help the thousands of illegal immigrant children that the government currently has in custody. From Todd Starnes of Fox News:

Pastors and churches have been banned from helping the thousands of illegal immigrant children housed in border detention facilities run by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, clergy in Texas and Arizona tell me. …

A public affairs officer for the Border Patrol confirmed that ministers and church groups have been banned from the Nogales Placement Center.  …

Pastor Coffin even asked if they could provide the children with toys, blankets and food. But the federal government’s response was the same – no donations allowed.

Response: Meanwhile the Obama administration is asking for an additional 3 billion in funds to take care of these children when pastors and churches are volunteering to help out for nothing? There are also reports that Catholic churches around the country are offering to take in the children and offer homes and foster care until their status is legally decided but the administration thinks it best to flood small towns across the country with the illegal immigrants while keeping them for all intents and  purposes in what amounts to as large prison camps?

What bothers me the most is that thousands of children are being held hostage as ‘political footballs’ by both sides of the immigrant issue because there is an important congressional election coming in November. Meanwhile no one wants to do anything that may have political repercussions until after the election? The inhumanity of it all. 

They are all coming in the first place because of the stated Obama policy not to send back anyone under 16 years of age.  So exactly what is the Obama administration doing to discourage more children from coming?         *Top
