-See You At the Pole 2013

by Dr. D ~ September 25th, 2013

Today, September 25, 2013 is  ‘See You At the Pole’ day across America and the world. A day when thousands of American students gather together at the flag pole in front of their schools and pray for the world, America, their community, and their schools.

Hundreds of thousands are participating in 50 states but you will probably not hear about it from the main stream media.

Some folks are under the impression that prayer is no longer allowed on public school property but that is not accurate. The Supreme Court has ruled in the past that students can still pray in private and even in groups with their friends. In fact, if you think about it, it would virtually be impossible to stop one from silently praying to God no matter what the law might be.

Many school administrators and teachers do not understand this and try to stop students from praying or studying the Bible on campus. However, it is only officially sponsored or directed (by administrators or teachers) school prayer and worship that is no longer allowed in public schools.
