-Idaho Passes Bill to Protect Christian Student Groups

The governor of Idaho has just signed a bill supporting the rights of religious groups on college campuses in the state to devise and maintain their own leadership standards. Here’s the story from CitizenLink:
Idaho Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter has signed a bill into law that affirms the rights of religious groups on college campuses. The law passed by overwhelming majorities in the House and Senate, giving faith-based clubs the right to require leadership to agree to its religious beliefs and standards of conduct ….
The law was introduced by Republican state Sen. Curt McKenzie to keep schools from adopting policies that single out Christian clubs. Those policies leave open the possibility of students with opposing viewpoints taking over the leadership of a Christian club and changing its course.
Virginia and Ohio already have laws protecting Christian student groups. Tennessee and Kansas are considering similar legislation.
Response: Finally the word is getting out that Christian student groups are getting kicked off campus in colleges and universities all across America. It gives me hope to see in the article above that at least three states have taken the initiative to fight back against this devious secularist trend to silence Christian student groups by requiring them to accept anyone- even unbelievers as leaders. The ‘all-comers’ rule for leaders is effectively eliminating Christian groups from the colleges and universities that have adapted that ‘inclusive’ requirement.
Even worse is the unequal and hypocritical ways it is being implemented on most campuses. Some PC groups like women rights and Muslim groups seem to be allowed to continue as they were without completely conforming to the letter of the ‘all-comers’ rule while Christian students groups are largely singled out and kicked out.
I am calling on all Christians to stand up and encourage their state representatives and state legislatures to pass similar bills that will protect Christians on campuses in every state. *Top

It`s frightening that college students all across America, and probably the world, who have been force fed a steady diet of vehement anti-Christianity will soon be our world leaders. Satan has been hard at work preparing the world for his seven year reign. Come soon Jesus!
