-Domino’s Pizza Wins Injunction Against HHS Mandate

A number of different companies have sued the federal Government over the HHS contraceptive mandate. To date, most have not been successful but Domino’s Pizza was at least able to get an injunction while their lawsuit makes it’s way through the court system. From The Christian Post:
The founder of Domino’s Pizza won an injunction against the HHS mandate that forces employers to provide insurance coverage for contraceptives.
"The HHS Mandate forces our clients to provide abortion causing drugs to their employees when doing so is a direct violation of the teachings of the Catholic Church and our clients’ sincerely held religious beliefs. The Court’s decision today upholds everyone’s freedom of religion and rights protected by the Constitution," said Erin Mersino of the Thomas More Law Center, who represented Tom Monaghan, owner of Domino’s Farm Corporation.
Response: I believe all Christian based companies and owners should receive injunctions until the constitutionality of the HHS mandate demands are completely played out in the courts. Freedom of religion and freedom of conscience in America is at stake in the outcome of these lawsuits.
The Obama administration would like to limit our religious liberties to official churches and worship centers only. For the entire history of this republic freedom of religion has been granted to individuals. In this case and in others like it, individuals who own companies would like to continue to exercise those Constitutional rights and have them reflected in their business organizations. *Top
