Response: Interestingly Lawrence O’Donnell does not try to suggest that the Bible be blocked from use because of any church and state issues but defers to an internal argument about the contents of the Bible itself of which he obviously woefully ignorant. Particularly when it comes to interpretation and application. Please somebody inform Mr. O’Donnell that death by ‘burning at the stake’ is not the most popular form of capital punishment in the Bible –stoning is. Burning at the stake is actually a Medieval favorite.
It is becoming fashionable for media folks to finally ‘come out of the closet’ with their bias against the Bible and against religion –particularly Christianity. Actually many media folks like O’Donnell have had a bias against Christianity and the Bible forever but have pretended to be even handed and open minded.
It is actually progress from my perspective that they are finally coming out and exposing their real feelings of distain for the Bible and for a Christian world view while displaying their obvious ignorance in the process. *Top
