BOSTON (AP) — The mayor of Boston is vowing to block Chick-fil-A from opening a restaurant in the city after the company’s president spoke out publicly against gay marriage.
Response: It begins. This will probably not be the last city to challenge and block Chick-fil-A after all of the controversy. Also this will not be the last Christian owned business to get in trouble over gay rights.
Already at least one printer and one photographer who did not want to participate in a homosexual event have gotten in trouble. Also, at least one community that I know of wants churches who rent out their facilities for weddings to be forced to allow same-sex marriages. We will soon see gay rights trumping religious freedom and free speech all across America unless Christians stand up and be counted. Otherwise, political correctness now dictates that toleration will be extended to everyone except conservative Christians. *Top
