-70% Prefer ‘Merry Christmas’ Over ‘Happy Holidays’ on Signs

According to a recent poll taken by Rasmussen:

Holiday shoppers, as they have for several years, would prefer to be greeted with signs reading “Merry Christmas” rather than “Happy Holidays” this season.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of American Adults shows that 70% prefer that stores use signs that say “Merry Christmas.”

Response: This shows that all of the PC attacks against Christmas in America are having an effect after all –causing a backlash.

Since over 85% of the country celebrates Christmas in some form or another I would think that businesses might want to pay attention to this poll. Why alienate all those folks?

Actually the smartest stores I see out there have signs de jour that cover it all:

Merry Christmas

Happy Hanukah

Happy Kwanza

       and

Happy Holidays!

That way at least 95% of the shoppers are ‘Merry’ and ‘Happy’.            *Top

Thanks for a link to your parody but it is really not all that funny since it is way to close to how some progressives in America actually think. Look for the bogus George Washington letter to be quoted somewhere on some atheist blog before the year is out.
