-Christian Testimony Stops Robbery

by Dr. D ~ August 1st, 2010

View this incredible video!

The man came in to rob a MetroPCS cell phone store at gunpoint in Pompano Beach, Fl,needing money to pay his rent but the Christian store manager Nayara Goncalves, 20, calmly testified to the man about Jesus and he left without taking any money.

Here is some of the dialogue:

Store clerk: "Jesus got something way better for you. I don’t know what you are going through, but all of us are going through a hard time right now."

Robber: "I don’t want to do that to you. I’m sorry. I’m sorry."

Store clerk: "Jesus helps you, he can change your life. Go back to church. Find a job. Get real friends in church. Talk to a pastor, they can pray for you. You don’t need to do this, Jesus is coming soon."

Robber: "You know one thing?  Good will be coming your way for what you did today. You have a good day and God bless you."

Response: This is an incredible story! It probably wouldn’t turn out like this way every time. In fact police believe that the man did rob another store later in the day and responded with a “God bless you” as he left. Nayara says that she was responding to the Holy Spirit in her comments and I totally believe her. The results seem to confirm it.

Some might view this as rather fool hardy on her part but she was pulling the money out of the register and was in the process of giving it to the robber when her testimony changed his heart. Praise the Lord!            *Top of the Blog

“This is an incredible story! It probably wouldn’t turn out like this way every time. In fact police believe that the man did rob another store later in the day and responded with a “God bless you” as he left.” I can totally relate to that quote from my own experience.
