-Lockerbie Terrorist Gets Hero’s Welcome in Libya
by Dr. D ~ August 20th, 2009
It was bad enough that Scotland released the man responsible for the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 that killed 270 people over Lockerbie, but he received a hero’s welcome when he ironically stepped off of a plane in Libya.
The man was dying and but should have spent all of his remaining days in prison. Out of some sort of misplaced compassion, the authorities released him and sent him home to see his family and friends before he dies. But what about compassion for all of the families who will never see there loved ones again due to the actions of this unrepentant terrorist?
Shame on Scotland and the UK for this unforgivable act in the face of unrepentant and celebrated terrorism—actually pouring salt on the unhealed wounds of the hundreds of friends and family members of the Lockerbie victims as they watch the killer receive an undeserved ‘hero’s’ welcome instead of a grave. What sense does any of this make?
Is this any way to discourage terrorism? No, it will only encourage more of the same—and more of these ‘heroes’ to come out of the Islamic woodwork. Unbelievable! *Top
