-Praying Thru Proverbs: 3: 13-20

by Dr. D ~ February 18th, 2019

Blessed Is the One Who Finds Wisdom

13 Blessed is the one who finds wisdom,
and the one who gets understanding,
14 for the gain from her is better than gain from silver
and her profit better than gold.
15 She is more precious than jewels,
and nothing you desire can compare with her.
16 Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are riches and honor.
17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness,
and all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her;
those who hold her fast are called blessed.

19 The Lord by wisdom founded the earth;
by understanding he established the heavens;
20 by his knowledge the deeps broke open,
and the clouds drop down the dew. –ESV

Our Father,

Thank you for blessing us with your wisdom and understanding through your Holy Spirit which guides us daily.

You guide us on the paths that bring peace, happiness, joy, and long life. There is nothing more precious in this life and in this world than your guidance and wisdom. The best philosophies of men do not compare.

The only thing better is the opportunity to be closer to you and your Son Jesus. Nothing in this world could pay for the grace and mercy you have extended to us through the sacrifice of your Son Jesus.

There is no way that we can pay you back for adopting us into your family. Everything we are and have is already yours. We can only praise your name and worship you forever. We will always be thankful for your gifts in this life and in the life to come.

In Jesus Name, Amen.
