-Praying Psalm 98

by Request ~ September 21st, 2015

A Psalm.

98 Oh sing to the Lord a new song,
for he has done marvelous things!
His right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.
2 The Lord has made known his salvation;
he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.
3 He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness
to the house of Israel.
All the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation of our God.

4 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth;
break forth into joyous song and sing praises!
5 Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre,
with the lyre and the sound of melody!
6 With trumpets and the sound of the horn
make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!

7 Let the sea roar, and all that fills it;
the world and those who dwell in it!
8 Let the rivers clap their hands;
let the hills sing for joy together
9 before the Lord, for he comes
to judge the earth.
He will judge the world with righteousness,
and the peoples with equity.  (ESV)

Our Father,

We sing to you O Lord a new song, for you have done marvelous things!
You have made known your plan of salvation through your Son Jesus; and his righteousness will be revealed in the sight of all nations. All the ends of the earth will one day see the salvation of our Lord coming in the clouds and every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all.

In this generation you have demonstrated your faithfulness and remembered your promises and re-established the nation of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen
your mighty works in their defense. Let your Word now go forth in power and conformation to the Jewish people; let there be revival in that ancient nation before the great battles to come. Let the Israelis finally know who their Messiah really is and be grafted back in as the natural vine and bring forth fruit before the great and final day of the Lord.

More Jewish folks have come to Jesus in the last 10 years than anytime since the first century. Let revival in their midst continue and even increase. Let their conversions shake and awaken the church which is sleeping in the West. Let your Kingdom come in their midst and let your will be done once more on the ancient hills and places of Israel. Let the people in Jerusalem break forth into joyous song and sing praises to their true Messiah while there is yet day.

In Jesus name, Amen.
