My mother went to the doctor today. She has a deep vein clot. He did not know what caused it, but did not mention cancer. Praise God!!! She will begin coumadin tomorrow for the next 3 months. Then the doctor will repeat an ultrasound on the leg. She will also follow up with the Coumadin Clinic next week who will monitor the coumadin leave in her blood.
