This was a good & funny movie. The antics & expressions of Robin Williams were worth the price of admission. Robin played the part of the middle-aged over-worked Bob Munro whose job was was being challenged by the ‘new’ guy fresh out of college. At the same time he was desperately trying to get in touch with his family once more.
The object of ‘endearment’ & continual trouble is a large ugly motorhome which Bob rents to go on a road trip vacation with his family. At the same time, he plans on taking care of business along the way, which he doesn’t inform his family of.
Much of the movie is predictable, but it’s fun anyway. However, as an owner of a RV, I have endured many funny situations myself, usually I am reminded of those occasions when during some family event or dinner, one of our children begins the conversation with: “Remember when Dad…”.
