This cute picture of a police puppy in training outraged Muslims in Scotland who consider dogs to be religiously ‘unclean’. Cards with the picture of the puppy were sent out to publicize the new ‘non-emergency’ police phone number. A Tayside Police spokesman said about the promotion:
