Here is an article on the Baptist Press which lists a number of ways that the National Geographic distorted the truth in their portrayal of Judas as a ‘hero’ in the supposed "Gospel of Judas". Apparently, the translation which was done by their ‘dream team’ of experts was not entirely accurate.
