Up to the last page, you're wondering "how will this all be made right in the end?" Then imagine reading the book again. Up to the last page you think "I see it now, of course that had to happen! How glorious!" Not that we will re-live our lives, but when we look back at them from Earth-That-Will-Be we will be able to see how everything came together for God's glory. I think forgetting it all would take away from that glory. Imagine reading an entire book. Up to the last page, you’re wondering “how will this all be made right in the end?”
Then imagine reading the book again. Up to the last page you think “I see it now, of course that had to happen! How glorious!”
Not that we will re-live our lives, but when we look back at them from Earth-That-Will-Be we will be able to see how everything came together for God’s glory.
