-Turkish President Calls On Muslims To Invade Jerusalem and Pushes for a New Caliphate

by Dr. D ~ May 22nd, 2015

President Erdogan of Turkey recently gave a speech calling on all Turks and Muslims around the world to refocus on re-conquering Jerusalem rather than fighting among themselves. He also continues to push for the establishment of a new Caliphate with himself as the new Sultan. His comments on these issues have not been covered by the Western press.

Turkey for over 80 years was a secular nation endeavoring to be accepted into the European community until Erdogan’s party came to power with a more radical Muslim agenda. On numerous occasions he has talked about re-establishing the Muslim Caliphate that was dissolved by the Western powers following WWI. This is another one of those occasions. Several years ago Erdogan even signed a treaty with leaders from Iran and Syria hoping to kick-start the beginnings of a new Caliphate.

Since then ISIS has come along and stolen some of his thunder proclaiming themselves to be an actual Muslim Caliphate already, with a large territory including half of Iraq and Syria along with several strong affiliates in Africa in Libya and the Boko Haram in Northern Nigeria. Then a couple of months ago, a key Iranian official was talking about establishing a new Shia caliphate with Bagdad as the capitol.

Make no mistake. even though this is substantially being ignored by the Western press and by the Obama administration, Muslims in this generation are aggressively seeking to establish a new powerful Islamic caliphate and along with it bring on the destruction of the Jewish state of Israel. The only thing standing in the way right now is the rise of a new charismatic leader that all the competing Muslim leaders will get behind.

For students of the Bible, the key players (Turkey, Iran, Libya, Syria) named in this article are reminiscent of the list of key nations that are prophesied to be included in the Gog and Magog (Ezekiel 38-39) attack on Jerusalem. Add to this the fact that Russia has formed an alliance with Iran and recently sold them their best anti-aircraft missile system one has to wonder if the Ezekiel prophecy is actually lining up. As a chilling side- can you imagine how President Obama would respond to an attack on Israel?            *Top

Meanwhile, the other major player in the Ezekiel scenario- Turkey has continued to separate from the US and NATO and their leaders also recently called for the taking back of Jerusalem and the establishment of a new M….
